At Breath and Sound, we offer a structured, self-paced supported yoga practice designed to serve individuals in recovery from substance use and related challenges. Such a practice emphasizes nervous system regulation, consistency, and self-awareness as foundations for sustainable healing. This is not about performance. This is about rebuilding trust in yourself — one breath at a time.

This program is a structured and intentional sequence of postures practiced with steady breath and mindful awareness. The practice is consistent and progressive, meaning you build it gradually over time.

Standing Postures – grounding & balance; Forward Folds – calm and introspection; Twists – removes toxins & support internal balance; Backbends – courage & openness: Seated Postures – patience & self-reflection: Closing Sequence – Reinforce safety, rest, and integration

Yoga Therapy
The Sanskrit word Yoga Chikitsa means “therapy” or “treatment.” In the yogic tradition, it refers to a systematic practice designed to restore balance to the body and mind. Rather than addressing symptoms alone, Yoga Therapy works holistically — through movement, breath, discipline, and repetition — to support long-term resilience.
